ab exercises

CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com Here are my 3 favorite abdominal exercises in which none involve lying on your back and curling your shoulder blades off the ground, or any type of movement that requires you to perform hundreds of situps while lying on the ground. These 3 ab exercises can be performed in circuit fashion for an excellent abdominal workout that will work your abs really well and help burn belly fat without placing stress on your lower back. The first exercise is the ab wheel. To begin you want to put your knees on the ground and place your body in the upright position. Rollout, keeping your back straight, while squeezing your abs and then return to the starting position. Repeat. Next, you will immediately move on to stability ball jackknives. There are all sorts of variations of this exercise. For example, you can rest your elbows on a bench with your feet on a stability ball, placing your body in a plank-like position. In this case, you will brace your abs and tuckyour knees into your chest and then back out. To make this exercise even more difficult you can do one-leg stability ball jackknives. So, when one leg tucks in, the other kicks out. You may also want to try stability ball jackknives with a bit of rotation. This will involve bringing your knees to one side and then to the other. Another alternative is to perform stability ball jackknives with your hands on the ground, with an additional push up added in for good measure

ABDOMINAL WORKOUT

CLICK HERE FOR A FREE WOKROUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com This is an alternative ab exercise circuit that you can do with just a stability ball and your bodyweight to easily replace the cable abs exercises. Just a warning for those who have low back problems; all of the exercises in this circuit are advanced abdominal exercises, involving more spinal flexion. So, if you do have low back problems, then you should skip this workout. To start out, you will do a stability ball Crunch, using a three second eccentric in place of the hanging leg raise. Do 15 reps for this exercise. Next, you’ll move immediately into a stability ball Rollout. So, with your knees on a mat, and your arms extended in front on the ball, keep your body in a straight line and stretch your abs by rolling the ball out, and then contract your abs to roll the ball back in. From here, you’ll go right into a X-Body Mountain Climber. In this exercise, start by getting in the regular push up position and then bring your opposite knee up to your opposite elbow and back out. Alternate sides. That’s it for the circuit. So rest, one minute and then repeat the circuit two more times for a total of three circuits. How To Workout Your Abs Without Buying Stupid Crap

In the words of Monty Python…and now for something completely different! I realize I haven’t made a lot of videos lately, but I have another hobby that’s taking away from my YouTube time. It involves some pretty serious training, so I’ve had stuff like this on the brain. I might post a video about it at some point. ps If you ever decide to do a video like this, make sure you get your camera angles figured out ahead of time. I did WAY too many takes.

Home ab workout: crunch exercise for 6-pack abs

forum.scoobysworkshop.com Got fitness questions? Check out the free AskScooby forum! Don’t let the TV ads convince you to buy some bulky contraption that will gather dust in your closet, crunches are safe and effective! This video clip shows how to do crunches with varying degrees of difficulty based on your ability. Remember that ab exercises alone will not give you abs! If you have the best abs in the world they will be completely invisible if you are overweight. Aerobic exercise and proper diet are even more important than ab exercises in getting that sought after 6-pack. Form is very important in crunches, many people do them incorrectly and end up working out their neck or hips more than their abs. Use slow movements and only use the abs. Concentrate on trying to raise your shoulders straight up towards the ceiling. Don’t worry about how many reps you do but focus on using perfect form. No whipping the head around or flapping your arms! This is not a sit-up either, the hips are stationary. Also important is to minimize any tension in the neck, I do this by very lightly supporting my head with my hands or the weight plate The main reason to workout abs is because strong abs stabilize your lower back and shield you from injury but as a side benefit a 6-pack looks great! For more ab exercises scoobysworkshop.comAnyone can be healthier, have more energy, sleep better, and feel better about themselves through bodybuilding. Intense Home Ab Workout

This is a thorough routine for the abdominal muscles. The routine consists of exercises that isolate the three main areas of the core: the lower abs, the obliques, and the upper abs. Remember that it takes more than a solid ab workout to get a flat, toned midsection, however. Great abs happen as a result of consistent training that balances cardio, strength training, as well as a clean diet. For this workout, do each exercise for about 20-25 reps so that you do a total of about 200-300 reps for the abs (this is what I demonstrate in the video). The workout should be done 3-4 times per week.
